Cured Ibérico pork industry
The industry operates through a plant covering 22,000 square meters for the production of our Ibérico pork products which represents 15% of the total production of acorn-fed 100% Ibérico pork products in Spain. Our facilities have the capacity to store 800,000 hams and have 4 natural drying rooms and a white room to guarantee the handling of the product in unique temperature and sterilization conditions, which has allowed us to obtain the necessary certificates to carry out our commercial activity in international markets.

Our environment constitutes one of the most extensive and densely wooded natural habitats of the Iberian peninsula: 300,000 hectares of continuous Dehesa. Environmental lung and world heritage that we have preserved for future generations.

Sustainability
The Dehesa is a model ecosystem in Europe and in it, COVAP carries out its activities while preserving it at the same time: the resources are conserved and used in a sustainable manner. It is the perfect integration of the preservation of nature and traditional livestock activity. Our model is an example of the sustainable economic and social development of rural areas: counteracting depopulation and boosting the wealth of areas away from towns and cities.
