On October 26, COVAP’s Director of Operations and Digital Strategy Vidal Madrid accepted the SEPOR de Oro 2021 National Award in the category of sustainability. The Cooperative has been recognized for its excellence in the livestock, industrial and agri-food sector in areas of sustainability and for its demonstrated commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. This includes the systematic integration of environmental and/or social criteria into its business as a driver of competition as well as a solid dedication to the economic and social development of its region. 

The Sepor de Oro National Awards have become an internationally prestigious event. The awards are focused on the production and processing of animal species, and recognize the work and commitment of more than a dozen companies, institutions and personalities in an essential sector to the Spanish economy.
